Description

Nohan Kenneh (born 10 January 2003 in Zwedru, Liberia) is a tall (190 cm) defensive midfielder with the versatility to play at centre-back. After arriving in the UK as a refugee at age six, he developed at Bradford City and York City before joining Leeds United’s academy in 2014. Despite featuring in Premier League matchday squads between 2020 and 2022, he never made a senior appearance for Leeds and declined a contract extension to pursue first-team football elsewhere.

In May 2022, Kenneh signed a three-year deal with Scottish Premiership club Hibernian. He debuted in July and scored his first professional goal that August against Livingston. Loan spells followed—first with Ross County in early 2023, then a season-long loan at Shrewsbury Town for 2023–24, and a second stint at Ross County in early 2025. In July 2025 he transferred back to England, signing for Tranmere Rovers in League Two en.wikipedia.org.

Kenneh represented England at U15, U16, and U17 levels before choosing to play for Liberia at senior level—he made his debut in an AFCON qualifier against South Africa in March 2023 and has since earned multiple caps.

A physically imposing and composed midfielder, Kenneh excels in tackling, aerial duels, and reading the game. He’s praised for his athleticism, passing range, and adaptability across midfield and defence—earning strong development ratings from talent scouts and first-team coaches alike
